Zuma is a pan-African super app bringing together 33 services — rides, food delivery, e-commerce, pharmacy, property, jobs, agriculture, logistics, travel and more — under a single account, a single wallet, and a single rating system.
The core engineering challenge wasn't any one vertical; it was making payments work the same way everywhere. The Zuma Wallet holds multiple currencies simultaneously and reconciles M-Pesa, MTN MoMo, Airtel Money, Tigo Pesa, HaloPesa, Stripe and card payments into one ledger, with escrow protection built into marketplace, property and freelance transactions rather than bolted on afterward.
This is the ERP pattern I bring to every hosting and platform client: billing, inventory, logistics and support tied into one system of record, so growth in one vertical doesn't break trust in another.
